Sarwat Gilani has worked in numerous television plays, web series, films and graced Pakistani screens for almost two decades. She is also an artist and has participated in various international art exhibitions as an advocate of women’s rights and speaks against child abuse at different platforms nationwide. She is an ambassador for many causes like Special Olympics Pakistan, Indus Hospital health network and UN polio drive. She is a proud owner of her new business venture named Art House, an inclusive after school space for children that encourages creative learning through a variety of programs and activities for differently abled, less privileged and main stream children.
Recently Sarwat’s film Joy Land was selected as an official entry at the Cannes Film Festival 2022 and again her short film ‘Noor’ has been nominated as the Best Health Care Film at the Cannes World Film 2023.
