Taimur Rahim
Taimur Rahim: is a Director and Producer from Pakistan. He completed a Bachelor’s degree in Film and Television from Concordia University in Montreal and later finished a Master’s degree in Film and Digital Image at the
University of Sydney. Taimur’s work includes producing and directing television programs in Pakistan, Australia and the UAE. ‘With Bells on Her Feet’ is his first independently produced documentary.

With Bells On Her Feet’ explores the sudden decline and degradation of classical dance in Pakistan following the introduction of oppressive laws by General Zia-ul-Haq in the 1980. The film focuses on Sheema Kermani, an iconic Pakistani dancer, who not only defied those laws but has continued to relentlessly employ this powerful art form as an act of resistance against extremist ideologies.
