Shahzadi Rai is a Trans Rights Activist based in Karachi, Rai is currently working as a Field Supervisor of UNDP's HIV Prevention Programme & Violence Case Manager at a transgender community based organization Gender Interactive Alliance and Miss. Rai is also the organizer of Aurat March Karachi & a founding member of Sindh Moorat March (Pakistan's first trans pride march)

This panel explores the interplay of Vendetta, Visual and Village for the transgender community in Pakistan. It questions the misconceptions continuously being tied to the hate campaigns against transgenders and khwaja siras as well as the forced erasure and bullying of the community. Ultimately the conversation will discuss how the community of care comes together to face of all this.
