Anusheh Naveed Ashraf
A Fulbright scholar, Anusheh holds an MPA in Economic and Political Development, with a specialization in Technology, Media and Communications, from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA). She has been working within the innovation and entrepreneurship space for the past several years and has a strong skill set within research, product innovation and strategy. She has previously worked as the Head of Digitization, Research and Strategy at U Microfinance, Head of Insights & Accelerator Lead at Invest2Innovate and at UNDP’s Innovation Facility in New York. Part of the World Economic Forum’s Global Shapers network and an Acumen Fellow, she has worked in challenging environments and used to wearing many hats.

What is catfishing? What is a financial scam, and how do we get trapped into them? In this panel digital rights experts will talk about the psychology of scams and how to protect ourselves. They will highlight why digital spaces are ripe for scamming and how scammers rely on vulnerable populations when searching for their next target.
