I'm sehrish kanwal a solo girl working as citizen journalist and a film maker for last 4 years with my studies in the same field media and communication studies at Karakoram international university Gilgit during this period I worked with different radio channels, web channels, newspapers, magazines and some TV channel as an anchor, compare, drama artist, news caster and Reporter I completed my BS honors degree this year with gold medal. Basically I belongs to district Ghizer Gilgit_Baltistan. The area of my interest is community journalism and environmental journalism I do work on stories which are uncovered by mainstream media the area of my focus is information dark and marginalized communities also working on misinformation and disinformation now. Last year I won citizen journalist award 2022 by media matter for democracy.
