Palvasha Shahab
Palvasha Shahab is an Advocate of the High Courts of Pakistan. She is a social justice lawyer, researcher and lecturer, particularly interested in discourses on gender, labour and citizenship. who teaches history and politics at the Department of Social Sciences and Liberal Arts. She is the former Executive Director of Pakistan Centre for Constitutional and Human Rights and the Legal Aid Foundation for Victims of Rape and Sexual Assault.

Be an Ally
Standing for what you believe in can have unseen consequences. Men have the opportunity to be strong allies for women by not only supporting gender equity and rights, but publicly and consistently advocating for it. However, while it is widely acknowledged that patriarchy hurts women and girls, also damages men and boys - not just when they are allies but across the board.
