Rawish is an active Aawaz II Change Agent (ACA) from Abbottabad district, working across key Aawaz II thematic areas, including GBV, child marriage and social inclusion of vulnerable groups. She took voluntary actions for changing community attitudes and strengthening inclusive practices for redressal of violence against women and linking women and other groups with government services. As a result of her efforts, seven community members were successfully linked with the Social Welfare Department to access relevant government support and services. Rawish continues to play an active role in advancing Aawaz II objectives by promoting inclusion, dignity, and equal participation within her community.

The session highlights achievements of community led behavioural change initiatives for addressing GBV and child marriage. Aawaz II communities share messages on the negative consequences of GBV and child marriage such as physical and psychological harm on women and girls. Community volunteers, from diverse groups will highlight best practices which worked for attitudinal shift in local communities against GBV and child marriage. Youth volunteers from KP and Punjab will share how their voluntary awareness raising sessions resulted changing social norms for redressal of GBV and child marriage issues.
