Ms. Naseem is a Joint Director in SBP’s National Financial Inclusion Strategy Implementation Division and has been instrumental in advancing policies such as the Banking on Equality Policy, which resulted in over 12.2 million new bank accounts for women. She now leads Pakistan’s implementation of the WE Finance Code, a global World Bank Group initiative launched in 2025 in collaboration with ADB. An alumna of the Fletcher Leadership Program for Financial Inclusion (Tufts University), she has policy expertise with technical know-how to close the gender gap in finance.
