Marium Kamal is an artist, feminist and entrepreneur. A couple of years ago, she quit a series of very demanding boring jobs and decided to become a full time artist. Her work is inspired by what women go through everyday. Her passion is creating through mediums of art, in hopes for a progressive society, that which is safe and equal for all genders

Marium Kamal (b. 1990, Karachi, Pakistan) is a multidisciplinary artist whose work explores identity, womanhood, and the lived experience of brown women. Through expressive color and form, she redefines the female gaze, transforming personal experience into a visual language of power and vulnerability. A graduate of the Indus Valley School of Art and Architecture, Kamal has exhibited widely across Pakistan and collaborated with leading cultural and commercial brands. Her practice also extends into creative workshops that investigate process, intuition, and the act of artistic release.
