Shanza Khan

Shanza Noorhasan Khan is a graduate student in Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School, USA. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Emory University, USA, and an Associate of Arts in Business Administration from Mount Marty College, USA. A Summa Cum Laude graduate from Emory University and a Dean’s Fellow at the Kennedy School, she was inducted in the Omicron Delta Epsilon International Economic Honor Society and the Omicron Delta Kappa National Leadership Honor Society during her academic career. She has worked as an Executive Director of Strategic and Economic Policy Research, a private consulting firm based out of Islamabad. She has also been a Poverty Research Associate at the Asian Development Bank, Islamabad, and also served as a Junior Professional Associate at the World Bank, Washington, D.C. She also works in the capacity of an independent consultant and has recently worked with the Overseas Development Institute, The World Bank, Microfinance Opportunities, Feinstein International Center, Sustainable Development Policy Institute, GTZ, UNICEF, United States Agency for International Development, Department for International Development, British High Commission, Aga Khan Planning and Building Service, and Royal Netherlands Embassy Development Cooperation. Ms. Khan focuses on social protection, health and monitoring and evaluation issues. Her skill sets includes research, policy design, program management, capacity building, strategic planning, intercultural communication and impact assessments. She is passionate about higher education opportunities for Pakistani youth and started an education organization, Eye on Ivy, in 2019 that assists students with identifying their academic passion, building their extracurricular profiles with targeted internships and community service, and guiding through the entire college application process.

Location: Hall 1 Teen perspectives on generative AI - a conversation moderated by Shanza Khan, Head, Ivy head Shanza and students from various educational institutes in Lahore who have their EYE on an Ivy league education. The panel will look at young people's fears and excitement about both the threat and potential of AI and how it is both changing and defining the world they live in.
