Dr. Um-e-Habiba serves as the Director of Wildlife at the Islamabad Wildlife Management Board, where she oversees the management of Margalla Hills National Park and wildlife conservation efforts within the federal capital territory. Under her leadership, her team undertakes diverse activities including visitor management, wildlife research, human-wildlife conflict resolution, and managing critical challenges such as forest fires and the conservation of species like the common leopard. She previously served on the faculty at Haripur University, where she specialized in wildlife and forest management, further solidifying her expertise in natural resource conservation.
