Anum Uzair

Anum Uzair is a Pakistani endurance athlete and forensic scientist, Mountaineer and mother of two. Known for her exceptional achievements in sports, she holds national records, including a 34-minute wall sit, and has won gold in trail running and gym championships.   Balancing her demanding career in forensic science, Anum has emerged as a role model for aspiring athletes. As the team leader of Pakistan’s first women’s K2 expedition organized by FCNA, she has inspired many to pursue excellence after becoming the second woman on Broad Peak. Her journey highlights determination, resilience, and a commitment to breaking barriers in both science and sports. Anum and her husband are the first mountaineer couple of Pakistan.
