Aaminah Qadir

Aaminah Qadir is a constitutional and human rights lawyer. She is the founder of She-her Pakistan, a public interest litigation firm. Her work focuses on empowering women, minorities and the environment. She is the coordinator of the prison reforms committee of Punjab and has trained over 150 district and sessions judges across Punjab.She was appointed by the High Court as an amicus curiae in the Ravi Urban Development Project case that raised serious issues of environmental damage, in a case challenging the Punjab Enforcement of Women’s Property Rights Act 2021 and in a case challenging the removal of the Punjab Ombudsperson for protection against harassment in the workplace.
