Sindhi Chhokri (Urooj Fatima) and her brother Toxix Sufi (Mohammad Kapri) form this resistance rapper band raging against the machine in Pakistan called The Panjhi Gang. They speak about issues that are swept under the carpet because they make poeple uncomfortable like honour killings, child labour, police brutality, enforced disappearanes. Their track Inquilab went viral on YouTube and they have performed in front of thousands at the Lahooti Melo. Their poetic expression found resonance with the audience. They talk about resistance in the same way as sufi saints did thousands of years ago, countering disenchantment amomg the youth, fighting status quo to bring change.
