The Her Story competition, a collaborative effort between Dawn Images and Shirkat Gah — Women’s Resource Centre, featured 12 captivating short films and photo-essays, each meticulously crafted to delve into themes ranging from Gender Justice to the Right to Play. A discerning jury evaluated the submissions, awarding the Best Film Prize to one participant, while two participants were honored for their exceptional Photo-Essays. Through this platform, participants illuminated the remarkable achievements of Pakistani women, showcasing their diverse contributions across domains like gender justice, sports, and culture. These narratives not only highlighted individual triumphs but also sparked a poignant dialogue, celebrating the resilience and tenacity of women who have defied norms and left an enduring impact on society. Their narratives serve as catalysts for reflection, urging us to challenge stereotypes, push boundaries, and strive for a more inclusive and equitable world.
