Samina Ahmed is a veteran Pakistani television actress with over 55 years of experience for which she was honoured by the Government of Pakistan with the Pride of Performance, one of the highest civilian awards. She is one of the most popular actresses of 1970s, 1980s and 1990s. Most interestingly she has forayed into Hollywood as a septuagenarian with the highly acclaimed series Ms Marvel, representing a generation of South Asian not given much space in popular narratives
